LSM TyreGuard® Tyre Intelligence Meets AI Telematics with Geotab for Safer Fleets
The Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) recently highlighted the expanding role of advanced telematics in Australia following the announcement that Geotab has unveiled its AI-powered telematics roadmap for the Australian market, which now incudes the integration of LSM TyreGuard® TMSystems. As a long- term HVIA member and active industry participant, LSM Technologies welcomes this continued evolution of intelligent fleet systems. Telematics is no longer simply about vehicle tracking. It is about integrating critical safety and performance data into a unified, actionable platform.
Tyre Intelligence Now Integrated with Geotab.
LSM TyreGuard® (Doran) TMSystems are now integrated into the Geotab platform across both the United States and Australia via straightforward Geotab Marketplace integration.
This enables fleet operators to:
- View real-time tyre pressure and temperature data within the Geotab environment
- Receive alerts for rapid air loss, under-inflation, or overheating events
- Improve compliance, safety, and maintenance planning
- Consolidate vehicle and tyre data into a single telematics dashboard
Importantly, a special version of the LSM TyreGuard® TMSystem is required to ensure full compatibility and seamless integration with the Geotab platform.
Why This Matters.
Tyres remain one of the most critical and under-monitored safety components on heavy vehicles. Poor tyre management contributes to breakdowns, fuel inefficiency, premature wear, and in serious cases, catastrophic failure.
By combining Geotab’s AI-driven telematics capability with LSM TyreGuard® TMSystems, fleets can now incorporate tyre intelligence into broader predictive maintenance and safety strategies.
Supporting Smarter, Safer Fleets.
As telematics platforms become more sophisticated, integrated safety systems will define the next generation of heavy vehicle management. LSM Technologies continues to work closely with HVIA and industry partners to ensure tyre monitoring systems remain aligned with evolving fleet, compliance, and safety expectations.
For fleets already operating on Geotab, integration is available via the Geotab Marketplace using the approved LSM TyreGuard® configuration.
Smarter data. Safer roads. Stronger fleets.
